This research paper is a study of the love relationship in the novels of Kamala Markandaya. For a couple love is necessary to secure their matrimonial relation. Without a good understanding it is impossible to continue a love relation between men and women. In this novel she has gone down deep in the portrayal of various shades of men and women equation between some pair of the novel like Mira bai and Richard, Kit and Premala.
