Vikram Chandra’s ‘Sacred Games’, satirical on Bollywood’s Plastic Beauty

Abstract
This article is intended to probe the reality about the satirical elements in the novel ‘Sacred Games’ written by Vikram Chandra the Indo-American novelist. The novel mirrors the life and struggles of the migrants of Mumbai. The mega-city is dominated by migrants from the different parts of the country and Bollywood, the film industry, is an indispensable part of the metropolis of Mumbai. The study gives its focus on the life of the affluent in the metropolitan of Mumbai, especially in the glamorous world of Bollywood.
